I started writing when, as a child, the long and rainy Washington weekends meant spending long periods of time indoors. But it would become more than an escape.
By the time I started high school, writing began to allow me to examine my interior world — to interrogate my thoughts, and patterns of belief and behavior. As a young, closeted queer, writing provided a lifesaving outlet.
After nearly two decades in the IT world, Covid-19 upended my career and turned my life upside down. I turned inward, and leaned on writing to help me make sense of the world and examine my place in it.
I’ve written about many topics–in both fictional and non-fictional ways–but I am, and will continue to be, a writer awestruck by personal narratives; stories of how average folks, facing incredible adversity, survive and evolve against a backdrop of climate crisis, political tension, socio-economic disparity, racial divides, and unchecked technological growth that–for many–poses an existential threat.

My work has most recently been available via publisher’s websites and through Amazon Kindle. You’ll still be able to find pre-Covid era work in those marketplaces.
